Administrative History | Crayford Central School for Boys was established by Kent County Council on a site in Iron Mill Lane, Crayford in 1931. It was later renamed Crayford Secondary School for Boys. Crayford Secondary School for Girls was built on am adjoining site in 1952. In 1965 responsability for the two schools passed fromthe County of Kent to the new London Borough of Bexley. The Boys' and Girls' Schools were amalgamated to form Crayford Secondary School in 1968 renamed Crayford School in 1974. The School closed in 1986. |
